Farm
An agritourism is born from the land, even before hospitality. ValBarè is a farm, rooted in eight hectares of hilly land among the woods and vineyards of Fregona.
Cultivating and breeding are not an ancillary activity, but the beating heart of everything: every daily gesture, every ingredient in the kitchen, every product on sale has its roots in this silent and constant work.
Our land gives us back everything we give with patience.
We grow beans, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, figs, olives and more, following the natural rhythms of the seasons.
With these same fruits we produce jams and preserves that can be tasted and bought directly at the farm.
It is an agriculture that seeks not quantity but quality, fully respecting the life cycle of each plant.
The animals
We are never alone here in Valbarè.
Goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, turkeys, ducks... but also dogs and cats: ours is a living farm, inhabited by presences that accompany us every day.
Animals that share with us time, space and, in some cases, even the journey to the table with respect and gratitude.
Those who stay with us feel it immediately: this is a place where every living thing has a role, a name, a story.
